Buffalo Camp

Buffalo Camp is a seasonal bush camp based in North Luangwa. The camp consists of 5 chalets all en-suite plus 1 guide'’s chalet, accommodating a maximum of 10 guests at a time. 3 of the chalets are built up on stilts, overlooking the Mwaleshi River. This is the only camp in this park which can accommodate families with children. There is a dining area and library with an outside sitting area and fireplace.

The area is predominately for walking safaris but also offers limited game drives, including night game drives. Walks are not endurance trip but more of a meander, which usually last approximately 4 to 5 hours. They are led by experienced Zambian guides and groups are escorted by an armed Zambia wildlife authority scout.

The remote location and rustic atmosphere of Buffalo Camp make this a real wilderness experience.
