Kilimanjaro Kempinski Hotel, known fondly as ‘The Kili’, is a popular landmark in the city, a reminder of the region'’s elegant colonial heritage and a favoured meeting place of locals and visitors alike. The hotel has recently been totally rebuilt and re-opened in August 2005.

The hotel features 2 restaurants; an all day dining restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. In addition it has 3 bars, the ‘Bar Lounge’, the ‘Pool Juice Bar’ and the ‘Roof Bar’. There is a large swimming pool.
