About Kasbah Tamadot

  • Close Panel

Kasbah Tamadot is Richard Branson's Moroccan retreat. With its restful courtyards and lush gardens, it invites guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views. There are 24 rooms and suites, all spacious and with ensuite bathroom and private balcony or terrace. The master suite also has a private swimming pool. 6 of the rooms are luxury Berber tented suites, all with private terrace and plunge pool. All rooms are decorated in traditional Moroccan style with rich textiles, rugs and cushions, artwork and antiques from all over the world, collected the by the kasbah's former owner.

The Kanoun restaurant serves a mixture of local and international dishes and uses herbs and vegetables grown in the kasbah's own gardens. Evening meals are served in the elegant restaurant or out on the lamplit terrace with wonderful views of the mountains and valley. The restaurant has a fine range of wines to complement its food. Guests can also dine in the courtyard around the pool. This is a popular setting for lunch. There are 3 bars, the cosy restaurant fireside bar, the rooftop bar and the pool bar.

During the day take a swim in the heated outdoor infinity pool or in the indoor pool. For those craving activity, the kasbah offers tennis and table tennis and a gym. Short local walks, longer treks and horse riding can be organised in the High Atlas foothills. Mountain biking and hot air ballooning are also popular ways to explore the surrounding countryside. The kasbah offers a number of other excursions by private car and Marrakech is just one hour's drive away. Alternatively guests can relax in the hotel grounds, strolling around the beautiful gardens, enjoying a drink on one of the many terraces or simply admiring the views. Indoors, the attractive salon has a wealth of books and DVDs as well as internet access. There is a spa offering a range of treatments including massage plus a traditional hammam. The hotel also has a gift shop selling many authentic Berber arts and craftware.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
