La Maison D'ete is run by a Swiss and Mauritian couple and offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. The hosts live on site and are dedicated to the needs and wishes of their guests. Accommodation can be booked on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis. The hotel is located in the peaceful resort of Poste Lafayette and is just 15 minutes drive from the large resort of Belle Mare with its golf courses and spas, 35 minutes from the capital, Port Louis and and 1 hour from the airport.

The setting is idyllic, with lush tropical gardens leading down to the sea. This area is known for its tranquility, sandy coves and refreshing breeze.  La Maison D'ete has two private beaches complete with sunbeds and sunshades where guests can while away the time. In addition there are two swimming pools for guests to enjoy. The gardens are full of tropical plants and coconut palms and enhance the peacefulness of the setting.

The Auberge Inn, located next to the reception area, is open for breakfast every day and offers lunch from Tuesday to Saturday and dinner from Monday to Saturday. Pricing guidelines for Mauritius

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £900 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Mauritius combines well with South Africa.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.

  • Example tripPrice per person
  • 2 week holiday in a high quality resort (or a two-centred stay inc. visiting outlying islands)Between £750 and £2000
  • 2 week holiday in South Africa and MauritiusBetween £2000 and £3000
