Andrea Lodge has a beautiful setting in lush vegetation on the south coast of Mauritius, with stunning views from the clifftop to the beach and sea. There are 10 chalets, all sea-facing, which provide simple but comfortable accommodation and are attractively furnished. All have ceiling fans, mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities and ensuite shower room. Each chalet has a private terrace where guests can sit and admire the views and soak up the tranquility of the location.
There are various activities available, including guided clifftop walks through the protected deer park, excursions to local sites of interest such as waterfalls and beaches, mountain biking and horse riding. Alternatively guests can relax in the lovely gardens and swim in the pool.
Meals are taken in the dining area with its thatched roof. At breakfast there is a choice of full English or continental fare. An a la carte menu operates at lunchtime and picnic lunches can be arranged for those away from the lodge. Dinner is a set 3-course meal.
