Loldia House is on a 6,500 acre ranch near Lake Naivasha. The original farm was settled some 100 years ago the property is still owned by the same family today. The current house, built in the second world war, is set on lawns which lead down to Lake Navaisha. The gardens contain acacia and wild fig trees and numerous indigenous plants and flowers. There are sun loungers in the garden where guests can relax.
The main house has 4 en-suite double rooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas plus a spacious veranda. There are 3 more guest rooms in Loldia Cottage, which has its own sitting room.
The food served is of the highest standards and includes locally caught fish and shrimps from the lake.
Guests are free to walk or ride through the ranch and can see impalas, waterbucks and other plains game as well as the farm's cattle and ostriches. Boat trips for fishing and bird watching and visits to the canyon, hot springs and abundant wildlife at Hell's Gate can be arranged. This is also a perfect localtion from which to visit the flamingo lakes of Nakuro, where rhinos and leopards can be seen.
