Deloraine House

Deloraine House is a fine example early 20th century architecture and is an elegant 2 storey building. The 5,000 acre estate is in a magnifient location on the western edge of the Great Rift Valley, on the lower slopes of Mount Londiani. It is about 90 minutes away from Nairobi and about a 45 minute drive from Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhino. Game drives can be arranged in the national park. It is also possible to visit Lake Bogoria.

Deloraine House has fine tropical gardens which include a croquet lawn and a tennis court, both available for guests to use. There is also stabling for up to 80 horses and guests are welcome to ride around the farm and the nearby mountain, enjoying the spectacular views across the surrounding countryside. Alternatively the area can be explored on foot and the owners are happy to take guests on local walks. Guests are accommodated in the main house and there are also some rooms in a separate guest cottage. Meals are served in the dining or outside on the veranda.
