About Evolution

  • Close Panel

Evolution is a luxury cruise boat which holds 32 passengers on three decks. It offers spacious cabins (including 3 suites), a hot tub, bar, 2 sundecks and an infirmary. She has the classic lines and styling of a 1920s yacht combined with modern levels of comfort and safety and an intimate smaller boat atmosphere.

The public areas comprise a lounge bar with facilities for lectures, slide shows and films, a library housing a large selection of books, films and games plus inside and outside dining areas. Meals are served buffet-style and feature a wide range of dishes. Special meals can be prepared for vegetarians on request. Outside Evolution has ample space for relaxation. There is a sundeck with rattan furniture and a small hot tub on the bow, where there are also sun chairs.

All cabins have private bathroom facilities and plenty of room to store toiletries. The cabins themselves vary in design and size, but all have ample room to hang and store clothing.

Evolution has sea kayaks, snorkelling gear and wetsuits for passengers to use. There is also a small boutique. There is a Kids Club with organised events for children and special guides for children on departures with families.

Pricing guidelines for Galapagos Islands

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights to Quito or Guayaquil will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). You will also need internal flights from the mainland to the islands which cost about £275 to £350. A Galapagos National Park tax is payable on arrival - currently $100. A few yachts also offer shorter or longer cruises. Charter cruises are also available. Please ask for details.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
