The art of travelling with respect

The Fair Trade Travel™ company

Cachalote

The Cachalote is a small motor sailer with friendly crew, and a good naturalist guide. It has 3 wooden decks for good sunbathing, and the dining room and lounge has panoramic windows. In appropriate conditions the sails may be hoisted, but please note that this happens fairly infrequently.

Viewpoints

Our guide on the Cachalote was exceptional. His knowledge and enthusiasm were infectious, and he ensured our compliance with the National Park rules by explanation and encouragement. He displayed and inspired a completely responsible attitude to wildlife, environment and local people.
