Red Mangrove Inn

Situated in a grove of  red mangroves on the edge of the ocean, the Red Mangrove Inn is in a peaceful and private location, yet is only a short walk from the Charles Darwin Research Centre and downtown Puerto Ayora. Breakfast is served on the waterfront terrace in the company of basking marine iguanas. The Inn is equipped  with a small outdoor jacuzzi and opens onto a  private bay for a relaxing dip in the ocean. The Inn provides 12 rooms, most with ocean views, all with private baths and ceiling fans. A variety of activities including tours of the island by jeep, horseback or mountain bikes and heading out to sea for kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving or surfing can be arranged during your stay.

Best times to go

The Galapagos Islands are a year round destination, though it is warmer and wetter from December to May, and cooler and drier with some mist from June to November.
