Zibadianja Camp (renamed Zafara Camp in December 08) is a small and intimate tented safari camp situated on a palm island in the Selinda Reserve in northern Botswana. Nearby is Zibadianja Lagoon, the source of the famous Savuti channel. This beautiful area is characterised by extensive floodplain savannah with occassional palm studded islands.
The camp consists of just 3 meru style tents set on raised platforms and with en-suite bathrooms with shower and flush toilet and hot and cold water. The camp has a reed-walled lounge and dining area. There is also a thatched bar overlooking a waterhole.
There is a wealth of animals to see in the reserve including elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard and wild dog plus abundant birdlife. There are day and night game drives and guided walks of varying durations. Canoeing, hiking and bird watching are also popular pasttimes.
