This is a great place to relax after a long flight or at the end of your Botswana safari.

There are seven tented en-suite rooms and two honeymoon rooms, a swimming pool, bar, lounge and dining areas. The main lounge and reception building has a large deck surrounded by birdplum trees, from which the lodge takes its name. Meals are served al fresco on the large teak deck and are sociable with guests sitting around one large table. There are walking trails in the game park which guests are welcome to explore. Animals seen here include zebra, kudu and springbok. There is a plunge pool for guests to enjoy, too.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.
